Katie Watson

My name is Katie Watson. I am a mother of 3 and a Navy wife. We are currently stationed in San Diego, California. My heart lies with mini-books, altered pieces and home decor. I like to incorporate all 3 into my work. I love texture and a good mix of media in all my work. I am not a flat scrapbooker. I think that my style is a little hard to define because it is such a mix of so many styles. I think the best way to describe it would be a "flea market" shabby chic style. I usually make a big mess when I work. I need to touch and feel everything in order to pick what I want to use. I love to incorporate vintage pieces into my projects, I think it adds so much character. I love mini books because I love to tell all the little stories. I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years now. I have been on the design team for Maya Road for 2 years. I am also on the Creative team for Kenner Road and Creative Therapy.
